TOP-5 what to sow after winter onions
By the middle of summer, spring gardening enthusiasm already tends to zero. I only want to do what is simpler, without flops and flops. All five ideas are of this kind: simple.
King of the Gardens
I'll start with the most popular summer vegetable. This is a daikon. In our family, nobody likes it, we stopped planting. And all our friends and relatives, if they talk about the daikon, then with a breath, like: "Oh, how I love him."
So they sow it in late July, early August, so that they have time to give a good root.
It is better to sow "on a tubercle".
Sometimes sprinkled with ash, helps with pests. The advantage of planting a daikon in summer is that it turns out sweet and juicy. The rainy cool period falls just on the growth of its roots.
Chinese cabbage
You should not hesitate with it, and it is better to grow seedlings. Although I grew roach when sowing seeds in open ground, but a very small percentage survive. I sow more, because I don't like messing around with seedlings in the summer.
Summer planting is good because fewer plants come into color. And for storage, the autumn Beijing is good.
Greens
At the end of August and in autumn, fresh herbs are in great demand in preparations, the main thing is not to forget to plant them.
The easiest
Sow oats, which I did this year. If it grows quickly, you can mow it, but if not, it will freeze and the garden will be ready for planting in the spring. It is the most leafy grain crop. Only he should not be given ears, grain is very gluttonous.
You can just put hay, I did that too, where I mowed strawberries.
Genious idea
This year it dawned on me that unclaimed seeds from bags can be planted as siderates. I will do so after the garlic. There will be a complex fertilizer.
