Inspection of my foundation, and sad conclusions. Or maybe cracks are normal?

Probably, an experienced builder will not be surprised by the multiple cracks at the facility. But when you build for yourself for the first time, all sorts of thoughts arise.

This is the second article devoted to the defects of my foundation.

Now I decided to take a close look at everything outside the house.

✅ Before that, my inspection was limited to a gaze from a distance of 2 meters. But now everything was on its knees and intent. Here is the result.

Again, I don't know how long ago these cracks appeared. But along the entire perimeter of the foundation, there are a large number of them.

❗ In the photo, they may seem large, but in fact, these are thin, hairline cracks. And judging by their number, they appeared during concrete shrinkage.

I never hid that during pouring, the technology was violated, and water was added to the mixer, otherwise it simply would not have been possible to throw concrete.

Now the main question is what to do about it?

Nothing can be fixed, but what will happen next? The foundation is already three years old, a box of a house costs two, and it seems to me that during this period something serious should have already appeared.

And the fact that defects are present, in my opinion, is more the norm than a cause for concern. Especially in a one-story building.
