I transported 6 cubes of rubble, and now I think: "How long does it take for this, in the filtration field for a septic tank?"
If you build a house, it will last forever, and the toilet will last forever. And will it really be so, and how to redo it if that ...
During the entire construction of my house, I had to do a lot of hard and tedious work, and alone.
And digging the earth (I don't know how much I threw), and transporting sand, and carrying blocks for the house in my arms...
But the most difficult and inconvenient thing is the transportation of rubble.
It is a large, fraction 20-40, into which it is very difficult to stick a shovel, and it is on this that a lot of effort is spent.
✅ And in the filtration field, for my septic tank, I had to transport as many as 6 cubes of this good.
And the closer this heap came to an end, the more I thought about how long this whole system would last?
It is probably no secret to anyone that the filtration field becomes silted over time, and its throughput may not cope with the amount of wastewater.
And I can't even imagine how to redo all this when the time comes ???
Dig out all the rubble, rinse it, and fill it back. Another system does not come to mind. But to do it with a shovel will probably not work.
So there will be less going to the toilet, probably... 😂
But while this is still far away, we will enjoy the work done, and I will move on. Now you need to properly lay the pipes - this is also an important matter.
