Any construction technology must be considered in relation to this situation. Sometimes even the most ideal strategy will not be enough, but sometimes the opposite is true - everything is superfluous and makes no sense.

At my construction site, I always adhere to this rule. And although many criticize me (sometimes, of course and to the point), I don't care used to think and reason for each stage of construction, rather than stupidly copy everythingwhat the "internet experts" advise to do.

In the manufacture of a blind area around the house, I also had to reflect.

And here it is important to properly prepare the foundation.

According to all "correct theories" it should:

• Be aligned horizontally (preferably below the laser level).
• And rammed (preferably with a vibrating plate).

But is it all necessary for me?

I did everything according to a simplified self-builder scheme.

💥 First, I spread all the sand around the house, and added some where it was needed.

The main reference point of the correct level was the foundation itself, and everything else by eye. In such an area, and even around the house, even significant drops will absolutely not be striking ...

💥 Then came the rammer. Or rather, a small seal using a manual device.

In my house, the blind area will not serve as paths around the house. And he will not experience any loads, except his own weight. So, to prevent its strong drawdown, this method is sufficient.

And all these actions were done quickly, without special machinery and equipment.

💥 It remains to make only the final alignment for laying the insulation boards.
