Crisps and beet flour
Now I'm looking for original blanks for the winter with direct fire from friends. As they do something, I just gasp! Although, it turns out later that there is similar information on the Internet.
This time, friends made beetroot crisps:
They say that their daughter-in-law is very fond of just such beet crunches, how they cook them. Simply grated a couple of beets into thin slices and dried naturally. It is possible in the oven or in the dryer. Only dry very well so that there is no mold during storage.
Even if the beets were bitter, the bitterness goes away after drying.
Beetroot crisps are not the kind of beet chips that the internet offers. In an Internet recipe, beetroot slices are greased with butter, sprinkled with spices, which, of course, is delicious, but no longer dietary! And it's hard to come off.
Friends keep their beetroot crisps in a glass jar with a screw cap. In winter, a delicacy, you just have to gnaw!
Helpful! Low in calories! Very easy to prepare. I ate a few slices and no hunger!
Beet flour
And also the flour from part of the crisps was ground. They will simply add to the dishes. And they keep it in glass jars.
Beet flour is an excellent food coloring. Here are some ideas from friends:
- Powder semolina
- Add to pancake or pancake batter
- Cream for cakes to tint
Have you seen colored pasta sell? 3 times more expensive than usual. So you can also make colorful dishes for yourself, with your own beetroot, carrot flour, and parsley flour.
Have you heard about these beetroot crunches? Or is it an invention?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
