Every gardener knows that the covering material can be white and black. The density of the former can be different, which makes it possible to use it in various directions.
White material
With the onset of spring, summer residents sow seedlings in open ground, which must be covered with white material in tightness. Be sure to press down on the sides well so that it doesn't get blown away by the wind.
Many are wondering why cover? Thanks to such actions, seedlings will appear much faster, and moisture will linger longer. In addition, the birds will not be able to peck out the planting material.
The use of covering material is allowed for arcs. If you use regular film, there is a risk that the seedlings will burn.
It is allowed to use a light covering material directly on the seedlings. It is unnecessary to stretch it, it is enough to leave the plants room for further growth. Such actions will not only create a microclimate necessary for plants, but will not allow pests to attack the plantings.

Many gardeners use ground pepper, mustard, or some kind of chemistry to combat cruciferous flea bees and caterpillars. Why carry out a lot of manipulations that take away strength, you can always use a covering material.
If you cover the beds with radish with covering material, then after its shoots no fleas will be able to dine on it with leaves. Watering plantings is allowed on top.
Covered cabbage can never be attacked by cabbage butterflies and lay eggs on the leaves. If you need to huddle, apply top dressing or get rid of weeds, just remove the material during the work. To water the plants, it is unnecessary to remove the covering material, just put a hose under it and turn on the water. The only thing to remember is that you need to loosen the material as the seedlings are pulled out.

Black covering material
Ideal for covering the ground to retain moisture and prevent weeds from growing. Most often, zucchini, various berries are planted on it, the trunk circle is covered.
If the covering material is old, do not get rid of it. Sew a cover out of it that can be used to cover roses or conifers with the onset of winter. If there are small pieces or cuttings left, there will be enough of them to wrap up the stems of heat-loving crops. It is also allowed to use white agryl for wrapping the trunks of fruit trees, which helps to protect them from mice, hares and frostbites.
