A way to get rid of mice so that the gray ones do not approach the house for a kilometerš
We did not use whatever methods, trying to defend our wooden house with a high ventilated underground from rodents - mainly from mice, less often - from rats.
We put glue traps on a plywood backing - the whole family was caught, with the exception of 2-3 of the most agile individuals, who, as if nothing had happened, were saying hello from the insulation.
We welcomed cats - the tailed beasts coped with the task, but they cannot physically climb into every hole, so the mice still remained.
Poured poison - and then they raked out the calf from everywhere. As you can imagine, the method is not very good.
As a result, they showed a soldier's ingenuity, and now the mice walk around our house and site a kilometer away. I tell you what they did.
The first trick.
We took the advice of a pharmacist we know and made a homemade mouse poison. All ingredients and process are shown in the slideshow below:
It turned out to be not bad, and for some reason the mice on their last trip tried not to hide in the insulation, but, on the contrary, to run away from home. It plays into our hands. Great.
Second trick.
It is in it that the soldier's ingenuity lies. Who are mice afraid of the most? That's right - natural enemies: cats, owls and eagle owls. Since only the first ones are available to us - kitties - we will use them.
We just took the used sawdust (filler) from the litter box - and scattered them along the house. Sawdust is a natural product, and by spring they will rot, but this is the smell that they exude... It forces mice to stay away from home.
Afraid means respect.
