#yabbid: portable Finnish stove for summer cottages, hunting and fishing
Hello everyone! During his last (not the last) trip to the Scandinavian countries, he got acquainted with such a concept as glamping. The Finns call them a small wooden house with panoramic windows, which they are building right in the middle of the forest on land rented from the state for ridiculous money.
The Finns go to these houses on weekends to enjoy the silence of the forest. And since the country is northern, these small houses need to be heated. And the easiest way is to use the stoves.
A compact portable stove with a built-in boiler and a tap, and I show you, friends, in this video:
Why is such a stove good?
- If you are a well-to-do Finn, and you have several houses in the forest, the stove can be carried from house to house (it weighs only 4 kg);
- The stove perfectly heats a house with an area up to 20 sq.meters;
- Built inside boiler and faucet for draining boiling water in a mug (this can be seen in the video);
- on the upper flat surface, you can cook food in a frying pan or in a pot.
In a word, if in Russia someone set up the production of such small stoves, there would be no end to fishermen and hunters. Yes, and I personally would be the first to stand in line for such a lifesaver stove.
Put one in a tent on winter fishing - you will be warm, with warm tea and food. It will warm and feed - such a slogan I would come up with for this oven.
Your opinion?
Have you met similar stoves here? And what do you think, would such a stove be popular?
