Sedum purple - just a magician
I saw purple sedum near the roads, I thought it was just unpretentious and interesting. It never happened that stonecrop got sick. It turned out to be a super useful perennial shrub. I learned the name quite recently, this is how it is:
Imagine, recently we bought hosts for our daughter, the house was being demolished for the sake of a high-rise building, and the woman was selling plants. She had a very thoughtful site design, a lot of variety. There was not much left before our arrival.
What surprised me was that sedum grew along the entire deaf fence. And it grew in the center too, in sunny places. It was her choice. I offered to take it too, but at that moment I did not know what a miracle it was - purple sedum. We loaded the baby carriage in 2 floors with other plants, stonecrop did not fit !!!
Sedum purple became vital to me, after everything that I learned about it. And at night there were already frosts. What to do? I went and bought a bush. 30 p. Total. Here, I squandered, I hope it will take root, the earth was easy to dig:
Why is he so good

It is up to 65 cm high. I saw a creeping sedum on sale with the same name, I don't know for its usefulness.
How to prepare sedum for future use
You can freeze the juice, I really like it!
It is difficult to dry, but it is possible. I did not try. According to some advice, grinding and a few days for drying will do their job (temperature 50-60 ° C). According to other information, you must first grind, then pour over with boiling water, and then dry. This is so that it does not grow during drying.
Jam is made from sedum.

Any soil, a sunny place is better (partial shade is possible), reproduction by dividing the bush, if desired, and seeds. But this is the latest flower, the seeds usually do not have time to ripen, and it makes no sense, you see which bush I got, these are several movements with a shovel:
