Paper masking tape - I can't do without it not a single day. How I use it when the renovation is long overdue

A roll of paper tape is always in my kitchen without fail. To be honest, I use it almost as often as a roll of paper towels. I run out of one reel of scotch tape, I immediately buy a second.

It would seem, what is it for - construction tape in the kitchen? So I want to tell you how convenient it is for me, maybe you will use it for the same purpose. Or maybe you know some other areas of application that are not known to me, but that make the work more convenient and less time-consuming.

Oddly enough, but, I seal any bags with bulk products with it, in which there are some leftovers that do not fit in the jars. This way they will definitely not crumble, even if you accidentally drop them. It is very convenient. Before that, I always had crumbs and spilled cereals in my kitchen cabinet. Always clean now.

I do the same with the bags of seeds, from which I take 3-4 seeds, and seal the rest with paper tape.

When preparing homemade canned food, I sign all the jars on the lids on such a piece of scotch tape with a ballpoint pen. I indicate the year of procurement and the name. It is very convenient in the cellar, without moving the banks, to see what is there.

These labels hold well, provide information about the contents of the jar. Just do not stick them on the side, on the glass - it is very difficult to wash off the remaining adhesive tape from the glass. And the covers last a maximum of 2-3 years, screw. Seaming caps are completely disposable.

In the freezer, all containers and packages are also signed on paper tape. This is very convenient when you don't need to rearrange everything, you can see it right away.

If you don't have a paper bag at hand for some important things, or small parcels, for example, you need to hand over keys or a USB flash drive. Then you can instantly glue the bag with paper tape and put change there. The courier will not lose an important item.

Since we continue to decorate the house, it is often required to use a tape measure. And you can not forget the dimensions if you immediately write them down on a piece of scotch tape pasted on a tape measure.

During repairs, small fasteners constantly roll in different directions. They are easy to keep in one place if you stick the paper tape sticky side up next to your work area. They stick to it and do not crumble.

Sometimes, when there is no adhesive plaster at hand, small cuts and scratches received in the kitchen, I also seal it with paper tape, treating it with a disinfectant.

It happens that the door needs to be kept open, but it has an automatic lock. But it is easy to press the tongue with paper tape, which then remove and bring everything back to its original state.
