Making a tripod from plywood. Photo and video report
I have already talked about this homemade product briefly earlier. Now I propose to see how it was made.
First, I sawed the main parts out of plywood.
Sawed off the corners at the triangular base on a jigsaw. This way the cut is clean and you can do without further processing.
Several blocks of 70x100x45 mm were glued from plywood. A hole is drilled in the center of such a bar for a 25 mm pipe.
And from the end there is a 9 mm hole for the pipe clamp.
The idea of fixing the pipe turned out to be quite simple and reliable. An 8 mm dowel easily passes through the 9 mm hole and this dowel presses the pipe. This can be clearly seen from the photo - scroll through the gallery.
Then something like a plywood column was made. Two parts 900x100 mm and two parts 200x100 mm.
Holes were made in the long parts on one side for attaching the swivel block.
And on the bottom side, short parts were screwed to make a box.
Next, a turning block was made. At two rectangles made of plywood 120x100 mm, I marked an arc from one edge, drilled holes for fasteners, they are also the centers of rotation of this block. And in one more detail, a groove was made in an arc. In this groove there is a screw that fixes the rotation.
And then these parts were fixed on a block in which the pipe is fixed. (scroll through the gallery)
The rack was attached to the triangular base according to the preliminary marking.
So it is more convenient to tighten the screws from the back side.
I also screwed small plywood squares to this triangle as legs.
The lighting panel is made on the basis of LED strips fixed on a plywood square.
After seeing how this tripod works, I decided to make another one and paint them right away.
For completeness, I suggest watching a video clip with the stages of making this homemade product.
