L-shaped stop for circular. Trim cladding.
About the L-shaped, I have already done a publication earlier. You can see in this publication.
Here I will show you how to use this stop for trimming the cladding.
For a new project, I decided to make the plywood facing with oak.
The plywood is made immediately to the desired size. Several oak planks are glued to it.
I glued the oak with some margin, and naturally the task arose to cut it flush with the plywood.
To do this, I decided to use an L-shaped circular saw stop.
The saw blade was raised a couple of millimeters above the thickness of the oak tree. The L-shaped stop is positioned above the blade and the edge of the stop is aligned with the near side of the saw blade.
Further, the protruding parts of the oak are trimmed with an emphasis on the plywood edge. That is, the plywood part serves as a template.
Thus, it turns out to quickly cut the cladding exactly to size.
In addition, I offer a short video clip.
Thanks for reading. I would be glad to have your support in the form of a like and a subscription to the channel. And see other publications on the channel.
