Can Ryobi be trusted? Ryobi ONE + R18DD3-220S Screwdriver Review!
This review will be of interest to those who already have #screwdriver Ryobi ONE +, and those who are just planning to assemble their kit.
So, drill / driver Ryobi ONE + R18DD3-220S Supplied complete with two 1.5Ah 18V batteries, charger and storage bag. If you already have a charger #Ryobi, then you should take a closer look at the model RyobiONE + R18DD3-0. This tool does not come with a charger, so its price is significantly lower.
Tool compact and lightweight, its weight is only 1.2 kg. The ergonomics are good enough. #Screwdriver very comfortable in the hand. The rubberized handle provides a secure grip.
Screwdriver equipped with illumination of the working area. This is probably the only tool where the LED is located so well. It shines exactly where you need it, while the cartridge does not give any shadow. The backlight turns on and off automatically when the trigger is pulled.
Tool has 2 speeds that allow you to optimally adapt to the task. The switch is located on the top of the case. The torque varies within 24 steps. Its maximum value is 50 Nm. #Tool equipped with a bit holder, which will make it possible to always keep the part you need at hand.
You can drill various materials - wood, metal. The maximum drill shank diameter is 13 mm. The maximum drilling diameter in wood is 38 mm. The model does an excellent job with its tasks both as a screwdriver and as a drill. There is no perceptible heating during long-term operation, the speed does not drop.
Charging is lightweight and compact, but it charges the battery quickly enough. A fully discharged battery takes about 1 hour to charge. Ryobi thought through some little things that pleasantly surprised. For example, the marking of the mounting location on the charger, the rubber pads on the body that protect the tool when you lay it down carelessly. More Ryobi - one of the few brands that supports the compatibility of lithium and nickel-cadmium batteries (the connection for both is made according to the same form factor).
Of the shortcomings, I can single out an uncomfortable bag. Still, it is much more convenient to store and carry tools in a case. But the manufacturer probably needed to save on something. Also, when the trigger is released at 2nd speed, the tool makes a sharp jerk. You need to adjust and release the trigger smoothly. Well, it would not hurt to be able to turn off the backlight. But these are small things compared to all the advantages available.
The big plus is that the battery fits other Ryobi tools too!
Basically the model Ryobi ONE + R18DD3-220S this is one of the best offers in terms of price-quality ratio. I liked the model for its ergonomics and power.
