Simple rules for installing sliding gates on an electric drive!

The first thing to do is to carefully select the drive to avoid further damage. Except in rare cases, almost all manufacturers offer the following gate automation kits:

• Drive unit;
• Inclusion controller;
• Remote control;
• Alarm system.

The next stage of installation is the preparation and creation of the drawing, which is done right on the gate. Draw approximate areas for mounting the drive and mark the location of the wiring exit. Decide in advance where the photocells in the form of two sensors can be easily located. Next, sketch the principle of connecting the gate drive, in which all the photocells will be marked. All other technical points will be spelled out in the device manual. Each brand is unique.

There are general rules for installing gates, which will be spelled out in any instructions. Whatever type and section the cable system is, it must be protected. Therefore, it is important to hide it in a protective metal shell, bringing them to the automation installation points. At the point of connection of the power supply, a disconnecting machine is installed, which protects against burnout of the wiring.

Next, the drive and the rack are installed. The drive is installed on a special base, which is included in the system. Further, it is installed on the U-shaped profile between the carriages. It is necessary to organize the touch and operation of the rack and gear. If required, the drive can be raised higher by placing a pipe of the required diameter under the base.

After that, you can start the direct installation of the toothed rack, which must be attached to the profile tube. After completing the installation, make sure that in idle mode, the gear touches the "teeth". Measure the dimensions of the parallel level of the rail and the accuracy of its mounting. If everything is working properly, install the drive. Weld the base to the channel and fasten the drive to the system with bolts. Fix all parts of the toothed rack and proceed with the installation of the photocells. Place them on the marks and connect to the drive control unit. Install the warning light and set up the remote control. If everything is done correctly, the sliding gates should work properly!
