Why do you need site surveying? And what does it show?
Almost every land owner knows that soil surveying is required to check and determine the exact size of the site. In which case, geodesy allows you to avoid further questions and disputes with neighbors on the site.
The principle of geodesy is based on measuring distances and angles with further carrying out the required calculations. Specifically, this process consists of the following steps:
- Calculation, determination and complete description of the coordinates of the limit points of the site.
- Installation of boundary marks of a certain sample.
- Obtaining documents establishing the legality and legality of the installation of boundary marks.
- Calculate the exact size of the study area.
- Development of a complete topographic map of the study area.
- Development of a boundary plan for the study area.
Depending on the purpose of performing surveying, the list of stages may vary. So, for example, if you want to establish the exact location and boundaries of the site, only a planned measurement of the territory is performed. If it is required to perform a topographic survey of a site, then along with horizontal measurement, an altitude survey is also performed, which allows you to characterize in detail the relief of the studied area.
However, is it possible to do without geodesy? Is she really needed? In accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation, the project for each construction work must be confirmed by the local architectural department. In addition to the main package of documents, it is required to send results to the architectural department geodetic survey of the land on which in the future will be carried out construction works.
When starting construction or design work, it is very important to obtain information about the location of the nearest engineering systems, the slope of the land plot, as well as the location of the site relative to the north, west, south and east. All this information will allow not only to determine a profitable place for the building being built, but also to significantly reduce the cost of construction work.
Today, a geodetic survey allows you to calculate the most detailed dimensions of sites, regardless of their shape and location. Geodetic activities are very important for changing data in the federal land registry. Accordingly, we can conclude that site surveying is a necessary process.
