3. There are homemade scarers. For example, pieces of cloth soaked in diesel fuel or herbicide. They need to be placed in several places on the site, especially in the shade. It is recommended to do this once a month. For prevention, it is worth treating the land under the buildings with saltpeter or herbicide.

4. Visit the summer cottage more often, make noise there, from which vibrations appear (music, instruments). Snakes perceive these vibrations as a danger.

5. To prevent vipers from getting into the house and other buildings, it is recommended to spread wool products at the entrance. This is one of the folk remedies for fighting snakes.

6. Do not allow rodents to appear and spread on the site. If you notice that there are mice on the site or in the buildings, get rid of them urgently. Snakes feed on small rodents. Vipers and other snakes will very quickly crawl to a deserted place to such a "delicacy".

7. There is an interesting old method - the protection of the site by drunken hedgehogs. If hedgehogs live in your area, place saucers of beer on its territory. They say that drunken hedgehogs become bold and active defenders.

8. In addition to hedgehogs, other animals - cats and dogs - are also used to fight vipers. The most suitable breed of dog for hunting snakes is the Jagd Terrier.
