Making a bathroom cabinet. Making grooves for the back wall and mirror. Part 4
Greetings.
In the previous parts, it was about drawings and fixtures for the manufacture of such a cabinet.

In this part, we will focus on making grooves for the rear walls and installing a mirror. This simple operation, however, has its own nuances.
On the pre-assembled body, markings are made so that you do not get confused in the future where and what groove is needed.
The grooves in the racks are the easiest to do - a groove cutter is installed and adjusted and the rack is milled along the entire length.
In the details "bottom" and "roof", the grooves for the rear wall are made according to the marking. The router setting remains the same as for the slots in the posts.
When milling by marking, the part is carefully brought to the beginning of milling, carried out to the final marking and carefully retracted from the cutter.
Then, with the same groove cutter 6 mm, I milled the grooves for the mirror. In the racks, this is also easy to do: the distance to the groove is adjusted from the back wall and it is made along the entire length of the rack.
Although in the photo I make this groove from the front wall, it does not matter for the racks, since they are 106 mm wide, and the groove is 6 mm, so it turns out at the same distance from the edges.
For the parts "bottom" and "roof", this groove is located in the middle and must be milled from the back wall. Marking is made on these parts and the part is also carefully lowered onto the cutter from above along the markings, and after milling to the end point, it also gently rises from the cutter.
At the end of the milling of the body on the parts "bottom" and "roof", the edge is made with radius cutters, as it was planned according to the project.
To see in detail how the marking was done, setting up the router and milling the grooves, I suggest from the video clip below.
The next part will be about the manufacture of facades for the cabinet
