Carpentry tricks. Forgotten way to hang cabinets
Greetings.
Now I am slowly making a kitchen set for myself. And got to the top cabinets.
How I did shading of milling on facades look here.
Currently, kitchen cabinets are most often hung on a mounting rail using special canopies.
I remembered the method of hanging such cabinets, which, perhaps, can be considered already forgotten.
This method requires two strips with one cut at an angle edge.
I made the slats from plywood, and cut the angle at 45 degrees.
One rail is attached to the top of the cabinet. The second is on the wall.
This canopy was attached to the cabinet with self-tapping screws and additionally with glue.
The second canopy is screwed to the wall and the cabinet is simply put on it. Due to the angle, a secure hold is obtained, and the cabinet is also attracted to the wall.
For clarity, you can watch a short video clip.
I've already hung these cabinets. The fastening turned out to be reliable. (Checked my weight)
My kitchen is not completely ready yet. When finished, I'll show you the entire set.
