Putin announced free connection of private traders to the gas pipeline! Instead, gas prices will skyrocket from August 1!
Elections, voting - there is something wonderful in this! The authorities make promises! And some of them even manage to complete! For example, this year, before the vote for amendments to the constitution, roads were actively improved even in the Russian hinterland, even financial assistance was received to families with children and people who lost their jobs during quarantine.
In addition, on May 31, 2020, our President gave order about free gasification of all private traders. A deadline was even set - by 2024 and 2030, gas heating should appear in two stages in all remote regions and private houses. Igor Sechin, head of Rosneft, was appointed responsible for this event. It is he who will control Miller and Mishustin, and be responsible for the implementation (or rather for non-fulfillment) of this order. I hope that this person will be able to control everything and bring the matter to the end!
Today the level of gasification in the Russian Federation is 70%, although even in Ukraine it is 87%. At the same time, the growth rate of the gasification level is 1% per year. That is, very slow!
This is not the first time the gasification issue is on the agenda. But, as they say, "things are still there." In our region, for example, the dates for gasification of remote settlements are postponed for a couple of years every year. I think the situation is the same in others. Oh, these promises... Most likely, the proposal of Vladimir Putin in practice will turn out to be simple populism.
Now the government, local authorities and Gazprom must form sources of financing in order to fully complete the gasification of our country. This is financially disadvantageous for neither Gazprom nor the Ministry of Finance. Therefore, there is only one way out - to raise the gas price, which is already happening.
Increase in gas prices for the population
An increase in gas prices has already been announced. This, of course, is not only about free gasification. Perhaps no one is thinking about this issue yet. The main reason is the losses incurred by Gazprom due to the warm winter and the decline in gas prices on the world market. Losses are borne by Gazprom, and OUR RICH Russian people make up for them.
Everything is according to the standard - oil prices fell on the world market, gasoline prices rose in the country! Gas prices fell on the world market, in the country - gas prices skyrocketed! And yes, the cost of utilities increases annually. We have even got used to it. But, if last year the cost of gas was increased by 1.4%, then this year the coefficient will double.. Gas for the population in August will become more expensive by 3%.
With such a pace, free gasification will not be required soon. Everyone will voluntarily use other types of heating, which will be cheaper and more profitable for ordinary Russian families.
