I decided to reduce my workshop to make room for work
Greetings.
Every time gardening starts, my mom starts demanding that I remove my pieces of wood from the aisle.
The fact is that my workshop is located in a walk-through room. It is attached to the long wall of the house and is 12 meters long and 3.3 meters wide.
From one end there is an entrance from the street, and from the other end there is an exit to the garden and an entrance to the bath.
It would seem that there is a lot of space, but the walk-through workshop and the place along the house need to be kept more or less free, which does not always work out and the working area narrows.
Also, the place near the entrance to the bathhouse and the exit to the garden, I have to keep free.
As a result, I decided to move the bathhouse to the place that was forced to be empty and thus reduce the workshop.
The plan above shows an unused space in red, and the future location of the bathhouse in blue and how the workshop will decrease.
There are several advantages to this placement for me.
At first, in place of the old bath, a wonderful pantry appears, which can be used for storing material.
This pantry will turn out to be away from the aisle and can be used to its fullest in the most literal sense.
In addition. Previously, old furniture was unloaded into the workshop: a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and an armchair. I decided to disassemble the wardrobe and chest of drawers, and restore the chair and return it to the house. This will also help free up space.
Secondly, the plans are to bring the heating from the house to the workshop, and since the size of the workshop decreases, it will be more economical to heat it.
The workshop will still remain large enough: 8.4 meters by 3.3 meters. And I hope that I can better equip my workplace.
And autumn stimulates work very well. Last week it was up to 29 ° C, but this rain and barely reaches +14. This is during the day, and in the morning it is only +6.
