Life outside the city is a combination of the beautiful with the terrible. It seems to be an incredibly wonderful measured life with its own worries and troubles. But sometimes there are situations that just infuriate! Situations when you think - why can't people think a little and invest in their comfort and safety.
One of the problems of suburban life is the lack of sewerage. And nobody canceled the waste. Here, each site owner first of all has a question - what to do with all this "happiness"?
The simplest solution is to organize a cesspool. Which, however, did my neighbor.
I will say right away - in general, I don't mind at all cesspools in your plots. But when the cesspool is next to my house and garden, it "confuses" me very much! I would like it to be anywhere, but just not bordering on my house, plot, garden.
And, as it turned out, the cesspool is a problem not only for me, but also for my neighbor, the owner of this structure.
I will tell you why you should abandon the cesspool
Yes, a cesspool is a simple structure. Pit, pipe - and forgot about waste for a while. BUT:
- This waste is not recycled in the cesspool. They simply accumulate, are absorbed into the soil and fill everything around. And of course the harm from such pits for the environment, including the neighboring area, is colossal. Natural waste from humans can of course be considered fertilizers. But there is also chemistry that no one can do without - soap, powder, dishwashing detergent and much more. Over time, all this remains in the soil.
- Due to the fact that the waste is not recycled, it accumulates in the pit. The cesspool requires regular pumping out with a cesspool machine.
- A cesspool is a rather laborious care. Despite the simplicity of its reconstruction, further maintenance is not at all simple and not cheap.
- You need to know all the rules and regulations that need to be followed. A cesspool should not be done near wells, wells, water bodies. There are requirements for the location at a certain distance from neighboring plots. And you need to think about it in advance!
And it is better to think in advance, study the issue and abandon the cesspool in favor of a more modern structure - a septic tank!
