Little things to be repaired: The customer told about 5 solutions that she will definitely "carry" with her to a new renovation

Recently renovated in one apartment. The hostess often came to the site. Nice woman - of those who try to foresee every little thing in advance. We were just leveling the walls, but she had already consulted with me what furniture to put in the kitchen, how to choose the right toilet bowl, etc. I was very impressed by her perfectionism. And there was no excessive emotionality inherent in women - everything is clear, to the point, without a drop of embarrassment!

When we had completed our part of the work, I asked her to write to me about various little things that should be noted in advance. Like what ideas she embodied then, and what she will definitely carry with her to the "new renovation".

She recently wrote to me! I decided to share with you.

“I am incredibly happy when I come home and know that everything in my apartment is done according to the mind to the smallest detail! Every little thing makes me happy! And I do not regret at all that I wasted time, and perhaps sometimes someone's nerves, pestering the masters with questions! It was worth it!" - her message begins with these lines!

Then she told me about 6 little things that could annoy her if she had not eliminated them in advance. So:

1. Spooky ventilation pipes

How often they remain in sight. While they may look good, they are always very voluminous. Even the most beautiful pipes spoil the look of the kitchen. Therefore, it is imperative to make a box to the very ceiling in order to close this disgrace and save yourself the pleasure of dusting them. Cabinets should smoothly go into the box.

2. Change the panel on the hood to the color of the furniture

I love the built-in technique. Including the hood. In a rented apartment, I was terribly annoyed by the fact that the panel on the hood stood out strongly against the background of the entire kitchen. You go into the kitchen, and your gaze immediately rushes to the stainless steel panel. This time I was told that there are hoods with removable panels. You can replace them with a detail to match the kitchen. So I did. Scroll before / after photos. It turned out organically and imperceptibly. Now I will always do that. And I advise everyone.

3. Mirrored base in the kitchen.

Mirror plinth reflects the floor. The kitchen is "floating"

This solution became interesting. Looks good. The kitchen seems to be floating in the air. It seems to me that this is the ideal base in the kitchen. Although, of course, here - the taste and color ...

4. Magnetic door stop.

Small flat and inconspicuous

Such an important little thing. Interior doors - how often they slam on walls or furniture and ruin the surface. There are stops that protrude above the floor and look ridiculous. I found another invention - a magnetic stop. Such stops are hidden. They are flat. A magnet is hidden inside, which protrudes at the moment when the door opens to the stop zone.

5. Bath ladder is a must.

This is the element that baths should not be sold without. Why hasn't anyone told me about such a useful thing before? This is such a "drain-overflow" inside which there is a mesh and a glass for collecting hair and other debris. Hair falls into the glass. And if some debris slipped past, then it remains on the debris. The device can be removed with a hook. Easy to clean. The pipes are not clogged!

Here are some tips about the little things that we don't think about, but which are worth considering when repairing!
