The plumber told his way to get rid of plaque. Will it work?
I think that almost every woman knows the feeling when on every tap and mixer in the apartment this nasty limescale appears again, which instantly kills the desire to use crane. We have to take on household chemicals, put on gloves and actively clean everything ...
But today, for the second time in a year, I call a plumber to change for a tap in the kitchen! It turned out that household chemicals fights well not only with plaque, but also with the nickel coating of the faucet itself - as a result, it begins to flake off, and the faucet starts to rust. The sight is even more unpleasant than with a touch.
The plumber advised a new way
Today, during the replacement of the tap, I complained about this problem to the plumber and it turned out that he no longer uses chemistry for this in his house for a long time. He says that he is fighting this problem with the help of toothpaste - it needs to be applied to the tap and rub with a brush, and if there is a lot of plaque, then leave for 10-20 minutes, so that the whole thing is good absorbed.

According to him, this works no worse than chemistry, but it does not harm the coating of the tap itself. Now I have a brand new tap and I can't try, but I will try next time. Did you know about this method? And how do you deal with this problem yourself? I look forward to your advice in the comments!
