Fashionable feeding in ampoules / granules, fertilizer yeast or succinic acid, and, most importantly, the endless spraying. In hot weather, I sprinkled potted plants 2 times a day - morning and evening.
Practice has shown that all of this is pointless! Healthy plants do not need spraying. After I stopped running and jumping with spray around window sills and supports... nothing happens to the flowers!
Let's start from afar
Interested in the theoretical side of the issue, I have read more than a dozen articles on the spray houseplants.
As arguments "for" I met the statement: "Sprinkle wash off the dust from the leaves." It is doubtful. It seems to me that spraying only smear it. And after drying the leaves they are often spotted dirty divorce ...
Once or twice a month bathe the plant under a warm shower. In any case, not in order to wash away the dust and dirt. Exclusively to pamper even flowers such imitation of warm rain. Maybe it will remind my green pets of "past life" in nature?
But to clear dust from the leaves, I take 2 small pieces of microfiber. You can also use a simple piece of cloth, and cotton pad (but I do not like, because sometimes it leaves fluff leaves). Moreover, sometimes sprinkling can go to the detriment of:

Some plants, such as violets, is generally not recommended to spray. Like other plants with pubescent leaves.
But what about the humidity?
The main argument for the spraying - an increase in humidity, which are so fond of tropical flowers. The most important and the most stupid. How to increase the humidity? If after only 5 minutes in the summer heat and winter dry leaves again when the batteries.
The only thing that gives spraying, - additional moisture. She needed only to plants with disorders of the root system. Because when planting in soil moisture capacity and correctly picked watering mode healthy flower, and so he gets all the necessary water from the ground. So why waste your time and energy?
