We got rid of the filthy bathroom by making a poor but clean renovation. Before / after photos

Repair is expensive. Financial income does not always allow you to refine your home and implement the desired interior. But nothing is so depressing as wear and tear. Especially if this is a bathroom - a place where a person must perform hygiene procedures, relax, and not strain, looking at a depressing unsanitary environment.

The bathroom in one family apartment looked very deplorable:

Dampness, mold, rust, falling off finishing materials - all this was disheartening. There was no money for expensive major repairs. But it was also impossible to continue living like that.

We decided to make repairs within our means - budgetary, but most importantly, clean and tidy.

The owner of the dwelling likes the blue color and the sea theme, so they did not hesitate to choose the tiles. We took a tile with a photo composition depicting the sea, seagulls, an island, the sky.

By the way, such a photo perspective visually expands the space.

The easiest way to make the ceiling was to make it stretch - and they did it. We bought a new, inexpensive acrylic bathtub. The plumbing was also changed.

The room is small, so we picked up a small sink with a bottom cabinet - all from the economical lines.

The only thing that was left from the former is a mirror. It is large and still in good condition.

They did not touch the heated towel rail - they just painted it with white paint. Of course, nickel plated would have looked better.

For the floor, we chose an interesting ceramic tile with the image of stones. It is not casual, but is a continuation of the photographic image on the walls - an imitation of a rocky shore.

The bottom of the bath was covered with a screen, which was sold as a set.

The result is an interesting "live" interior. He, of course, is not for everybody, but in my opinion it is quite cute.

At least it's definitely better than it was. The main thing is that everything is now clean, fresh, and there is no dispute about tastes.
