The married couple have lived all their lives in an apartment in which no renovation has been done for a long time. First, they raised their children, helped them get an education, and saved on themselves to help children. And now pensioners simply do not have enough funds for repairs, for them it is too expensive a pleasure. But the children insisted and promised to help.

The old interior was so ancient that it could have turned to dust. As they say, nothing lasts forever.

At first, the children helped to choose the appropriate design. Then they ordered the kitchen and bought the necessary materials.

It's good that my son works in the construction industry. He completed the finishing work himself, which allowed him to save a considerable amount.

First of all, a plastic window was installed in the kitchen. The door was replaced with an arch, the walls were covered with white wallpaper with a small gray pattern. The corner kitchen set is made in black and orange colors, the light interior design would make the space of a large room even more spacious.

The worktop and backsplash are dark gray. Black hob, oven and extractor hood. In the spacious room there was a place for a TV and a washing machine.

The floor is cream-colored laminate. A matte stretch ceiling in white was supplemented with halogens. A gray refrigerator was placed near the window.

After renovation:

A beige and brown corner sofa was placed to the right of the window, next to it is a beige dining table. The window was decorated with translucent orange curtains. The wall behind the dining area was decorated with an original painting.

Nice interior turned out. The children paid for most of the repairs. We saved on the services of a designer and builder. There are some flaws in the design, it was possible to choose a dining table and a sofa in a different color, they stand out a little from the general picture.

But the spouses really liked the result, especially modern household appliances and their favorite orange color, which will cheer up on cold winter evenings. The elderly couple hopes that now their children and grandchildren will visit them more often.
