Large white kitchen in the house - everything could have been made much more comfortable

Many interior designers welcome the design of the kitchen in white, moreover, such a finish is now in trend. The owners of this house decided to follow the fashion and furnished their kitchen in a minimalist style.

Everything here corresponds to this direction: strict clear lines, no unnecessary details, simple lighting (a lot of natural light). Along two walls, at an angle, there are work surfaces in which a sink and a hob are mounted.

On the other wall there are shelves and large cabinets with built-in kitchen appliances. There is a small table with chairs and a refrigerator in the corner.

The floor is made in the color of natural wood, the rest of the color palette is black spots of small details on a white background. Fashionable, spacious, clean, but I think the owners should have been more attentive to the recommendations of the designers.

Snowy whiteness that hurts the eyes can have a negative effect on the human psyche, so experts offer several ways to avoid this.

White is a complex color with many shades. To make the kitchen warm and cozy, you can choose one of the halftones: cream, linen, ivory. Another design rule: the room looks the most harmonious when three colors are used in the decoration - the main, additional and bright accents.

Therefore, it is recommended to dilute the white kitchen set with a bright apron, for example, from a colored mosaic. The countertop can also be decorated in a color similar in tone. Curtains and accessories that echo the complementary color will add personality to the kitchen.

As for the convenience of location, it is not clear why the sink and the hob are so far apart. Is it convenient? And one more thing: in such a spacious room it was possible to arrange both a dining area with a large family table and a cozy rest corner. And the small table, lonely nestled in the corner, does not fit into the monumental interior of the kitchen.

To some, this large white kitchen resembles a hospital. I have a different association: a spacious room, sterile whiteness, large cabinets with built-in appliances, a lot of workers surfaces - it looks like a professional kitchen of a small but expensive establishment, but has nothing to do with home hearth.

This is not the place where the family gathers with pleasure for joint holidays or just for communication, there is clearly a lack of warmth and comfort.
