How a textured floor and a pink curtain set the mood for a banal white kitchen

The kitchen, with an area of ​​about 8 m2, is not a lot and not a little. For a woman who lives alone, it turned out to be enough to turn her into a cozy and comfortable space.

Starting the renovation, she chose a scandi style that is dear to her heart. Moreover, the simplest of the options is without design delights and sharp contrasting combinations: white and only white! It is the main color for walls, ceilings and furniture.

The kitchen set takes up space from the refrigerator to the door. It is quite roomy thanks to rationally selected elements: there is an upper corner module, and narrow pull-out sections on the sides of the built-in oven, and even under it. The illuminated telescopic cooker hood is hidden under the cabinet.

The glossy light brown wood-like countertop looks very cheerful. Stylish white granite sink and a dark hob for two burners do not take up much space, there is enough space for different jars, bottles, and for the necessary little things.

The apron, lined with white ceramic tiles "hog" in a run, goes well with wall decoration with imitation of brickwork.

There is a lot of decor in the room: colorful posters, a wall clock over the dining table, a chandelier in the shape of a large Chinese lantern, pots with indoor plants. The hunting theme so traditional for the Scandinavian style is symbolized by a tray with the image of a deer head.

And this kitchen would be, like hundreds of others from the store - standard and boring, if not for a couple of chips that speak of the hostess's extraordinary taste.

The real highlight of the interior is the floor. Laminate with imitation of old bleached wood is not uncommon. But there is such a rich gamut of shades that create a stunning effect of naturalness and naturalness. A cute rug with black polka dots is just a godsend - a typical kitchen becomes cute and homely cozy.

And the unremarkable window, with a white Roman curtain, seems to come to life thanks to the pink sheer curtains that frame it. They give some weightlessness and airiness to the entire space.

The result is a wonderful cuisine: it is pleasant to work here and have a cup of tea with friends.
