The husband made a family bed and a bassinet for his son himself

When planning to renovate their homes, people usually entrust the work to the repairmen, and buy the furniture that is on sale. But, as you can see from the example of this family, a more creative solution can be found.

Having skillful hands and a creative streak, you can not only make repairs in the apartment yourself, but also create unique furniture with your own hands. This is exactly what this married couple did.

The family has a small child, and this circumstance guided the parents when arranging the bedroom. Everything here is subordinated to the convenience of childcare and hygiene.

In a fairly spacious room, there are no unnecessary things, no carpets, textiles (except for the window curtain), small objects that collect dust - the space is free, all areas are accessible for cleaning, everything is easy washes. Light laminate, white walls and ceiling, two large windows - there is a lot of light and air in the room.

However, the head of the family did not confine himself to a fresh renovation, and made the matrimonial bed himself.

The frame upholstered in soft fabric is set on legs - wide round posts made of polished wood. A comfortable mattress is laid on top - and the exclusive bed is ready.

At the head of the bed, larger columns act as bedside tables, and the owner hid an electric wire in one of them and installed an outlet. A small floor lamp of frosted glass is connected to it - soft lighting to approach the child at night.

Adjacent to the bed is a low table that serves as a changing room - it is convenient to change a child's clothes or change a diaper on it.

The wall at the head of the bed is decorated with a decorative panel on which wooden discs of different diameters are glued - the waste material has turned into an original panel.

There is a cot in the room, but the baby is apparently very tiny, and the caring dad built a traditional hanging rocking cradle with his own hands. It is fixed on a high tripod and looks like a curly toy box: white cables seem to be stitching it. The walls of the cradle are also sewn with a cross and different patterns are carved on them.

When the child grows up, everything will probably be different in this room, various decorative accessories will appear, bright elements that create comfort. But while the dominant is the comfort for the child. And we must pay tribute to the head of the family, who did everything with his own hands and with care for his son.
