The kitchen was renovated - the wife chose the wallpaper that annoys everyone now
Before starting the renovation, the family drew up a detailed work plan, discussed what and how it would look. It was not without controversy, but, in the end, it was agreed that one wall would stand out with a catchy design. It will become, as the designers say, accent. The result was mixed.
A spacious white suite with matte fronts fits perfectly into the corner between the doorway and the window. The beveled corner of the end section does not obstruct the passage.
Hanging cabinets under the ceiling and lower cabinets are separated by an apron with a wood grain pattern in light brown tones. A round beige sink with a stylish mixer and a transparent hob of the built-in gas stove is embedded in exactly the same countertop.
The freshness of white furniture is accentuated by the silver color of the large two-compartment refrigerator and telescopic hood, metal parts of household appliances and fittings.
A snow-white ceiling and a light laminate on the floor go well with the headset. A large white window with shutters, decorated with flowerpots, lets in a lot of light and looks very organic against the background of a single-color wall decoration.
A small table and chairs with backs in the dining area take up little space. However, due to the fact that both the table and the stool under it are laid out, the whole family can gather at dinner in the kitchen.
The cream color of the artificial leather, which is upholstered in the chairs, is perfectly combined with the wallpaper, which has become a real bone of contention in the family. They do not like any of the household members, and the husband is so simply annoying. And all because the wife bought them alone, since everyone was busy.
It seems that both the background of the wallpaper and the general color scheme fit into the interior design. If not for this obsessive repeating pattern of countless shelves, crammed with every little thing. In addition, the wallpaper also stretches along the wall of the corridor, creating a feeling of disorder and clutter.
Only after making repairs, the household realized that they made a mistake and now the wallpaper will be annoying.
Perhaps it would be nice to paste them over only part of the wall near the dining group.
Better yet, change them to light-colored wallpapers with a small and discreet pattern. Such a combination with white furniture would give the room airiness and spaciousness.
❓❓❓ How about a renovation and a wall with such wallpaper? Is it ok or is it too clumsy?
