Do-it-yourself refillable paint spray

Hello dear guests and channel subscribers. Here I propose for your fair trial another homemade product in the form of a refillable paint spray. There are many ways to make a reusable spray and today we will consider one of them.

You can fill the container with any liquid that you need. The main thing is that its consistency allows the possibility of spraying and is not too thick.

Let's get started. We take an ordinary empty can from under paint, varnish or primer.

A conventional valve from a car camera is used as a filling device. The people call it a nipple or spool.

Just in case, I attach a picture of how it works.

To use it, we need to clean the rubber from the metal sleeve.

This is not easy to do. To begin with, we cut off the rubber with a knife, then you can walk with sandpaper for high-quality stripping. This is how it should turn out as a result.

Now using a soldering iron and tin, we need to tin the top of it, which comes right after the thread.

Shoot how to make a hole in the can, the place of the hole in the bottom must also be tinned as shown in the photo.

Next, using a self-tapping screw, we punch a hole in the bottom of the cylinder.

Important. This hole must necessarily be smaller in diameter than the diameter of the metal body of the nipple.

Now we insert the metal sleeve of the nipple, hammer it in with a hammer. Do not be too zealous here, so as not to bend the cylinder body. The bottom of the cylinder was tinned so that when the nipple was hammered, cracks did not go in the body.

We do not hammer in the sleeve completely, but leave about 1 millimeter between the thread and the bottom of the cylinder.

Now we seal the joint well with tin. The tightness depends on the quality of the soldering.

Well, that's all, the refueling device is ready. In our case, we fill the cylinder with alcohol to clean various parts. We unscrew the spool itself from the body and fill the balloon with a medical syringe.

Now we screw the spool into place and you can fill with air. Everything is ready to go.

Do not repeat this at home or in the garage))))

To refill the cylinder, it is enough to fill it halfway with working fluid, paint, solvent or something else. You can pump it with a car compressor, in this case it is pumped to 2 atmospheres.

Some say that you can pump up to 6-7 atmospheres, but it's better not to risk it.
