The girl made a stunning coffee table from old drawers
Many people today are looking for ways to express themselves and be creative. Someone sews clothes, others make furniture for the house from simple things. So our heroine decided to translate the long-standing idea of creating furniture from old boxes into reality.
In general, boxes are often used to create beds, side tables, tables, shelves. Firstly, the reuse of wooden objects ensures the preservation of nature, and secondly, for a penny you can easily equip a country house or apartment.
Our heroine has long wanted to create interior items with her own hands in her free time, but not all family members share her love for such furniture. I had to wait for the moment when my husband went on a business trip, and you could calmly get to work.
First, the girl drew a sketch of a coffee table, then she made a layout out of paper in order to roughly understand how the finished furniture would look. Next, it was necessary to connect the boxes to each other and attach the wooden legs.
All the necessary elements were painted with chalk paints of white and blue and patterns were applied. The drawing and color of the table were matched to the overall design of the room.
In my opinion, it turned out to be a very interesting and functional piece of furniture. Still, such furniture may not please everyone. I would add glass doors to the side open shelves and replace the top protruding part.
Wooden boxes can be used both for the main decoration of furniture or for creating a frame, which must later be hidden with other details.
Those who like such furniture have the opportunity to save a lot. I believe that such interior items are great for decorating a country house or a rustic interior.
By the way, if someone doesn't have these wooden boxes, they can be found at IKEA. Knagglig is a stable box for storing various things.
I must say that the husband, upon returning home, was pleasantly surprised by the design of the new coffee table.
❓❓❓ How do you like this job? Did you like the table or so-so?
