Excellent kitchen 6.9 m2, but protruding top cabinets create disharmony

The creation of a design project for small-sized premises should be approached very seriously. It is important to maintain functionality and, at the same time, create a stylish and modern design.

In many apartments of the old layout, the kitchen area is very small; a working and dining area must be placed in this room. The question arises: how to make a cool design and arrange everything as comfortably as possible?

The spouses asked the same question when they began repairs in the apartment, the kitchen area of ​​which is only 6.9 square meters. m. The task is not easy. To enjoy a cozy and comfortable environment, it is better to use the services of professional designers.

The guys decided to save money, they were independently looking for a suitable interior design option on the Internet.

We put a small set in the kitchen along the width of one of the walls. The fashionable Scandinavian style was taken as a basis. The predominantly white design allows you to visually expand the space of a small room.

White fronts go well with a wooden countertop, black appliances and a sink fit perfectly into the design of the kitchen set. The apron was decorated with white rectangular tiles. The microwave was secured under the top row of cabinets.

The walls were painted with gray paint, the floor was covered with tiles with various geometric patterns in black and white. A silver refrigerator was placed to the right of the front door, and a dining area was made behind it.

The interior design of a small kitchen looks neat and stylish; the colors are well chosen. But, in my opinion, there is one serious drawback: protruding upper cabinets make the interior heavier and create disharmony.

Thus, they decided to increase the capacity of the kitchen unit, but such an addition negatively affects the overall picture. The kitchen apron protruding beyond the upper cabinets also looks incomprehensible, it seems that the cabinets should have been large.

The spouses are satisfied with the interior design, and this is the most important thing.
