Yamobur from a punch with your own hands
At the very beginning of my construction epic, I drilled holes for the pile foundation of the bathhouse. To do this, I purchased a TISE drill. It was very difficult for them to drill by hand. It turns out that you could do it like this:
If you have a drill mixer or a powerful hammer drill, the process can be simplified. And effortlessly, in one day, drill holes for the entire pile field. I drilled for several days. From the revision - all you need to do is make an adapter, a node for attaching the drill to a drill (perforator). With a perforator, I then drilled holes for dowels (dowels) in the bar. I had it, I didn't need to buy it. But I didn’t think of it, because did not study the topic.
If someone wants to quickly drill holes for fence posts or for bored piles of a structure - the information below, I think, will be useful to many.
If pits with a lower expansion according to the TISE technology are not needed, but you just need a cylinder, a screw from a gasoline auger will do. For deep holes, you need an extension to the auger. The auger itself costs from
RUB 900 (depending on the diameter). The costs for the auger are orders of magnitude less than ordering a yamobur on the basis of a car:And, most likely, the car will not go to you below a certain amount. I think this is not a reasonable approach. If only the deadlines are on.
If the budget is limited, there is time, then you can make a drill yourself from scrap metal. We need a grinder and a welding machine. Preparation time: 30-60 minutes.
Mark and cut in half an old circular saw blade. It can even be partially broken off. We also weld to an old or broken off drill from a perforator. Or you can weld directly to the pipe.
Install halves, boil securely. And we insert the drill into the pipe-rod and also weld the connection. At the end there is a gentle adapter for mounting in a hammer drill or in a drill mixer. Or a threaded connection for an extension (0.5 m booms). The entire short-lived process of making a hammer drill bit is shown in this short video:
According to reviews, such a homemade design, even in manual drilling mode, is much more efficient in operation than a purchased drill. If you buy metal for manufacturing on the basis of vtormet (25 rubles / kg = 100-150 rubles), then you can make such a drill without much experience in welding. And the cost of a similar drill in a store is from 1500 rub. Another option is to rent a motor-drill. Price: 2-3 thous. rub. per day. For some, this is money, besides, you will have a self-made drill for a perforator for these funds.
A low power rock drill may not be up to the task, especially when drilling large holes. Needed with high torque.
Another option. From pipes and fittings and some kind of cutter. The tip is a piece of a large diameter drill. This drill bites into the ground very quickly. Who used this technique - write in the comments. Your experience will be interesting too.
