The cost of connecting a private house to a gas pipeline in other countries
IN this article I showed the price level for connecting to the main gas pipeline in the Russian market. Prices start at 100 thous. rub. (Crimea) to 700 thous. (in outskirts of Moscow). And what is the price level in other countries? Maybe it's not about our monopolies and their desire to cash in on more or less wealthy citizens (the logic is this: if you build a house, then you have money)? Can everything be economically justified?
The first example is from Germany:
This information is for 2018. As you can see, connecting to a gas pipe in Germany can be free. In the forehead case, it is lower than in Russia. This is with their salaries. It's about competition. If the service is provided by far from five companies, then in conditions of fair competition, the service is also within the framework of common sense prices.
Neat connection process. Specialists and builders do all the work as for myself.
But the cost of heating with gas is, of course, high. The author of these lines correctly wrote. With a consumption of 20 thousand. kWt of thermal energy per year for an average house, the cost of 1 kWt of this thermal energy is 5 Euro cents ~ 1000 Euro per year.
Although, in 2019. against the background of competition from the supply of liquefied gas, the European Union was able to reduce the cost of Russian gas supplies by more than a third!
It is only in our country that tariffs and the cost of energy carriers are increasing. In Europe, they know how to lower their costs. They live there themselves. It can even be assumed that Gazprom, knowing that sooner or later such a competing situation will develop in Europe, hastily began to build new gas pipelines: South Stream (to Turkey) and Power of Siberia (to China). The profits sank. But he is in no hurry to step up gasification of the domestic market.
I do not know the whole situation and draw my conclusions based on the news and the information that lies on the surface and publicly available on the Internet.
Let's move on to other examples:
An emotional commentary with information on the cost of connecting to a gas pipe in the USA and Germany.
This comment was left by a reader (in an article about the cost of connecting a main gas pipeline in Russia). And he frankly expressed his surprise why in our country, where the lion's share of the world's gas volumes is produced, such a situation.
Comment on the cost of connection in the private sector in Georgia. I don't know the details, but there is no reason not to trust this comment.
In the northern countries of Europe, there is also a free connection to the main gas pipeline. And we have been talking about the problem for the second decade.
For certain circles, monopoly is very convenient and profitable. It is stupid to call for conscience in the conditions of wild capitalism. There is only one kind of solution - political will. But it is not there either, and one gets the impression that in our country they are afraid of offending the rule of these monopolies and the oligarchs of private companies. One can talk for a long time about the motivation of such a policy.
By the way, I found interesting signs with the cost of connecting to a gas pipe in the Perm Territory. If the pipe runs along the section (no further than 200 m), then the cost of connection is 40 thous. rub. But explain to me why not include the conditions for connecting to the wall of the house in the technical regulations (include in the same 200m)? Why would I hire a second company to carry out work on a site from 3 to 10 m? It turns out that when I connect, I overpay at least two, or even 10 times.
Information about the connection in the Moscow region. Will the situation ever change for the better - what do you think?
