The most efficient heating is underfloor heating. Floor temperature is not higher than 26 degrees. High heat transfer of a horizontal surface, the air in the room is heated evenly, the efficiency of boilers (for water heated floors) in such a system is higher (heat up to 26 gr. - you need less heat than up to 60-70 gr. in radiators).

But a house with warm floors must be well insulated or have an estimated wall thickness (estimated heat loss). Otherwise, you will have to additionally install heating radiators. These are all additional costs, like the boiler itself (electric and solid fuel).

There is one thing. If it burns out, then there will be no warm floor. And you will need to think about how to heat the room. And the electric-water warm floor is repairable.

Another plus. If you are not satisfied with the cost of heating with electricity, then you can connect a boiler to the circuits from the pipe and heat it with coal, wood, or if you have inexpensively connected gas, then from a gas boiler.

What are the costs of heating with electric-water underfloor heating?
