Why am I planting annuals on seedlings now, at the end of May
Hello!
You have breathed a sigh of relief, landed all the seedlings of annual flowers in the flower beds in the country or around the house? Released sills? And again I conjure over the containers, soil and small seeds.
This year, I decided to dig into his life all the tulips and daffodils. Bulbs are relatively few, but they occupy an impressive part of
2 beds.
Tulips I transplanted 2-3 years. "Periods burn" Therefore, in 2019. Yes, and I noticed that some of the smaller tyulpanchiki steel, and a few plants have absolutely refused to bloom, showing only the leaves. Daffodils and all sit in one place for 5 years exactly, so you can no longer procrastinate.
What does it all. I thought: many voids remain in the flowerbeds, as I dig all bulbs? You fill them to stay beautiful flower garden?
The solution is obvious: decided to plant seedlings flowers with short vegetation period, ie rapidly growing:
- dwarf snapdragon;
- dwarf marigolds.
For a month they grow well and in July, when I dig tulips and daffodils begin to prepare to bloom. So I fill the void in the bald flowerbed. How do you like this idea? It was interesting - press the "Thumbs up!" Thanks.
