How to do without an iron when ironing things. 5 practical life hacks
It happens that at the most significant moment a "reliable companion" for creating your ideal appearance is iron - can burn out, break down or simply be absent at hand (business trip). What to do in this case? For starters: don't panic.
Good afternoon dear friends!
Then "brainwash" and imagine the following situation: call to work and explain the reason for your absence. So so idea. Or leave the house in crumpled clothes. So what? After all, 70% of residents from neighboring European countries afford it! Not very good either. Although we are to some extent a European state, BUT our people prefer to "go with a needle"! Therefore, I propose in such an emergency situation to resort to 5 non-standard but practical life hacks, which will help you get out of it with your head held high.
Save your workplace and don’t take on the image of a homeless person!
1.Use a hair dryer. A quick enough method that can help you straighten things out. To begin with, hang the clothes in an upright position (on the hangers), and then sweep over them with a hairdryer, stepping back about 5-10 centimeters. The folds will begin to flatten out immediately. And if your hair dryer is also equipped with a plastic nozzle-concentrator, then this is just a godsend for an experiment. The only thing is to control the distance so as not to burn the material.
This life hack works great with cotton items!
2.Apply a hair straightener. In other words, this is an iron! That is why their direct functions overlap with each other. Moreover, sometimes the heating of the rectifier is even more powerful than that of a household iron. So, they are definitely interchangeable! But preferably unilaterally! Although the situations are different. And for the hair, the iron may burn out. And here at hand the usual... ?!
So, smooth your clothes according to the principle of hair straightening. Warm up, grab a piece of cloth with forceps and pull. Great for collars and ties as well as oversized clothing.
3.Make a "magic" remedy. Because it's easy to prepare, doesn't require any special ingredients, and yet is effective enough! First, prepare fabric softener, vinegar (9%) and water. Then fill the spray bottle with them in a ratio of 1/3 of each substance. It remains to shake the mixture well and spray the clothes with it.
For the life hack to work 100%, you need to stretch the clothes a little and let them absorb the product and dry!
4.Take advantage of the shower. Agree that you use steam when ironing! So, now it needs to be found in a different place. For example, a bathroom or shower. Shower, preferably longer than usual. After all, your task is to create steam "clouds" and in no case "release" them after water procedures. Then hang your clothes (the higher the better) on the hangers above the bathroom or in the shower. Then close the doors or curtain and leave things there for 10-15 minutes.
And while you go about your business, your things will be partially ironed on their own. A wonderful travel option!
5.Boil water. Well, everything is simple! Pour water into a large container (saucepan), place it on the stove, turn on the heat and let the water boil. As soon as steam comes out, hang the clothes on a hanger and secure them to the kitchen above the pot. And you will see how the material begins to smooth out on its own before your eyes.
Then shake the clothes and go over them with a hairdryer, if there is no time to wait for it to dry completely. ALL!
