Careful handling of window sills does not guarantee the absence of stains on them. Settled dust is easy to deal with. However, what to do with stronger dirt that cannot be wiped off with a regular sponge and water?
I have tried many different cleaning products for plastic windowsills. Some remove stains from flower pots, others remove yellow stains. However, not all funds can cope at once. How to do without chemicals and clean the windowsill in five minutes?
There is one secret method that works instantly. Consider a budget option, how to remove stains on a plastic windowsill.
How to wash
You should take a sponge, wet it and rub it with laundry soap. Then you need to wipe the window sill with this product. This will be the first step of cleaning, which will take 1-2 minutes.
With the help of laundry soap, the window sill will be washed from light pollution. Next, you need to prepare an effective solution that will remove old stains.
You will need hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and tooth powder. You must take 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tooth powder (can be replaced with white toothpaste), 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1-2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Stir the ingredients well to make a gruel.
Using a sponge, this mixture must be applied in a circular motion (as if rubbing) on the spots that are in the problem area. Existing stubborn stains will quickly begin to fade. The applied mixture should be left alone for 4-5 minutes, no more.
If the mixture seems thick, you can sprinkle water on the windowsill from a spray bottle.
Then rinse everything well with clean water. There will be no trace of stains. The product is budgetary, does not cause allergies.
