On sale, foam can be bought in cylinders. The material is not cheap, so everyone is trying to save leftovers in order to use them later.

How to preserve the foam if it still remains in the cylinder?

It often happens that all the foam is not used in the work, and it is a pity to throw away an almost full cylinder. How to save it correctly? One condition is necessary that the adjustment screw is tightly closed.

It is necessary to store foam in an upright position. Do not store the cylinder in a hot room or near a heat source. If not all of the foam is used, then you should not unscrew the gun. It serves as a stub.

In this form, it can be stored. And when you want to use it, you simply peel off the foam from the end of the gun nose and remove a little inside. Now you can use it again. After work, put the foam cylinder upright again and it can stand up to a total of 10 months.
