The simplest feeding for Currant, which amazed me with its result. But for some reason, many Summer residents do not know about her
It is rare to find a site where currants do not grow. Delicious and healthy berries will not leave anyone indifferent. Like any other crop, currants need periodic feeding with nutrients, without which it will not be possible to get a good harvest.
To be honest, over the years of growing currants, I have fed it with what kind of fertilizers - both biological and chemical and of natural origin.
But out of all this variety, with its unsurpassed effect, I was struck by one of the simplest feeding, which will not be difficult to prepare, because it consists of only two "ingredients" that are in every home. I will gladly tell you about this fertilizer.
The main component and how it works
The main active component of the miracle feeding for currants is ordinary food potato starch, which can be purchased in every store.
This substance has an amazing effect on currants:
· Promotes intensive growth of green mass (which is important for early spring);
· Does not allow shedding of shrub flowers;
· Promotes the filling of blackcurrant berries, increases their sweetness;
· Prevents berries from shedding and withering.
· Helps to increase the strength of bush stems;
· Makes the plant more resistant to adverse environmental factors.
Such an extensive beneficial effect is achieved due to the presence of a high potassium content in the fertilizer, which is necessary for the full development of the shrub, for its growth and successful fruiting.
Recipe
You will need two of the most common ingredients - water and starch. So, you need to pour three liters of water into a small enamel container and add 300 grams of potato starch.
Send the container to the stove and bring to a boil, while stirring continuously throughout the cooking period. Remove from the stove and combine with 10 liters of cool water, stir.
The nutrient is ready. It's very simple, isn't it?
Application
I use starch fertilizer for watering black currants, spending about 3 liters of solution for each bush. It is important that the soil should be watered abundantly with plain water before feeding.
I do this for the first time before flowering, and then before the fruiting period.
The simplest feeding of currants will give excellent results. Now you have a unique opportunity to make sure of this!
