More and more people are interested in the topic of budget construction. And even if, rather, my story is more about how not to build, I decided to describe everything. I understand that I will get a bunch of cuffs from eminent builders, but how did it happen?

How it all started

Usually, it takes months, if not years, of market monitoring, trips and inspections to find a site suitable for all "Wishlist". BeerZip I came, I saw, I won - I drove by, noticed a sign about the sale, wrapped it up, looked, bought it. SNT lands, normal roads, electricity supplied, in the future even gas, but how far it is is unknown. I decided to start the "development of the virgin lands" with the construction of a workshop-utility block, so that there would be a place to store the inventory and the rubbish that is certainly formed in the process of life. Taking into account the specifics of the structure, I decided not to be zealous with the foundation, the shed, and not much money either - managed with concrete blocks. The dimensions of the blocks are 20x20x40 mm, put them on a sand cushion with a step of a couple of meters, threw roofing material over it for waterproofing and tied the whole thing with a bar with a section of 100x150 mm. Instead of an antiseptic, he covered the wood with mining and "drove on."

For a long time, or for a short time, the thought slowly began to spin in my head that I didn't really want to have a barn. And I want some kind of house to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Well, the fantasy started.

Construction and arrangement of the house

The result of the flight of thought was a 6x4 m frame, with mineral wool insulation along the perimeter, 150 mm thick. In the house: entrance hall, toilet with shower, living room, kitchen and sleeping place on the second tier (mezzanine).

• Heating - fireplace stove.

• DHW - electric boiler for 30 liters.
• Sewerage - septic tank made of concrete rings.

In terms of costs: in the market I bought only a board for a frame, OSB and shingles. In total, about 60,000 rubles, plus another 10 thousand floor board somewhere. Everything else was bought on the ad site and decently cheaper. I remember that the insulation took 200 rubles per pack (there was 400 rubles in the store), the lining and imitation also cost 200 rubles (just lucky) plus, he took something from clients at work, if they wanted to throw it out, where are the doors, where are the windows (awesome, Finnish wooden) and so on Further. He put together a kitchen set himself, from the remains of a board, they gave a stove, bought a refrigerator for 5 thousand, found a microwave oven on the side of the road.

Lives well, both in winter and in summer, for almost three years now. Heating in cold weather with a stove, convector as a spare, in case of a long trip (more than a day).

What may not suit you, all the benefits of civilization are present - the Internet, shower, stove. Plus - no need to look for a parking space, at any moment you are in the fresh air, you have no idea how great it is to sleep here! Living in an apartment, I was tormented - either you can't sleep, then you wake up at 4 am, and here, like a baby, I sometimes sleep until 8 am. Of course, someone can say that in winter it is necessary to clean the snow, heat the stove, but this does not bother me at all, you know how cool it is to read in the evening when there is silence around, no cars, screaming people, and only firewood in the fireplace crackle... Again, this is also beneficial - in the winter month, a maximum of 2500 is obtained. One thousand payment SNT, one thousand Internet and 500 e-mail. Firewood is lying in the forest, take it, I don’t want to: to heat a house from +10 to +24, you only need 7-8 pallets. And in the summer, in general, beauty, put a pool, dive, barbecue, mashlik, stars overhead! You can't tell everything, you have to try it. I already began to notice that there was no desire to enter the apartment at all, only my wife and daughter were calling, they say I was completely wild on my ranch. And by the way, when they arrive, there is enough space for three.

What I would do differently now is a modest list.

• A good foundation - the flight is normal, but in the future you will have to jack up and pour under blocks like slabs, at least 50x50 mm.
• There is not enough insulation on the floor and roof - a thicker layer would be more effective.
• Roof window - to gaze at the stars and air the mezzanine.
• It is necessary to change the door - a curve and a siphon, bought from hands for 3 thousand, because of which it pulls along the floor in winter.
