From foundation to roof in one season

Someone builds and moves in one season, squeezing "Wishlist", and someone stubbornly strives for the ideal for years. Irina_Lebedeva tells how they looked for a plot and built a large house for several generations using the technology of fixed formwork.

So, everything would be fine, but spring has begun, and we still did not have a team that will help us build our dreams. Friends helped - they advised the workers who in their SNT performed any work, including. and poured the foundation. It was a happy moment in my life (that there are such workers, I believed only last year).
Without delving into all the vicissitudes of construction, I will only say that it was thanks to the workers that we decided to build a house using technology Velox is usually a fixed formwork made of expanded polystyrene, and here the monolith is poured into the formwork from chipboard slabs with insulation, unsupported. It seems that now its production has been discontinued and foam is used for construction.

Life hack for the delivery of composite reinforcement

We save on everything so as not to overpay for delivery, which is 150 km to the object, a little more than 5000 m was loaded and brought with our own car.

Construction of a monolithic house

During the first construction season (from April 17 to December 24), a house of two floors, plus a basement, plus an attic, was brought under the roof.

We used composite fiberglass reinforcement in the slab to save on the foundation. Considering the amount, the difference is substantial.

The first belt of the basement floor. An exciting moment: tomorrow the first mixer on the walls. The marking was carried out using a water level and a square, inspection of all dimensions with a laser level showed the high level of skill of our workers. The discrepancy is 2-5 mm on the diagonals of the house with a side of 14 meters!

Particular attention is paid to strengthening the slopes on both sides of the house: so that nothing slips onto the house and that the house does not slide itself: piles (the longest ones that were found did not weld on anything) and a concrete wall.

An exciting moment for us again: the first overlap. I personally do not believe that this "garbage" will be able to withstand a large amount of concrete, that all this will not break and will not pour out on our heads...

The process is going on, and everything turned out to be not so scary. On the right, you can see the not yet filled ramp, which I asked to make not the same as the architect designed it, but exactly twice as wide. Now we know: I did everything right.

Heavy last 1.5 meters of the attic walls. Delivery of concrete by a crane in a "bath" (I don't know what is the correct name), which was bought on Avito for literally 1 thousand and brought back in their own car.

So the house went into winter. The roof is covered with metal tiles, the annex (on the right) is covered with roofing felt, temporary frames are inserted on the ground floor (wooden, dismantled from double-leaf ones, inherited after changing the windows of some research institute). The Chinese neighbors dragged on their construction not only with forests, but also with material in order to continue work all winter.

We spent the winter choosing a window supplier. The windows were installed already in May next year - this was the beginning of a new construction season, in which we had to deal with exterior finishing.

What happened with the "dysfunctional" neighborhood

Even in the first year of construction, it turned out that the neighboring ruins were transferred to the Chinese for restoration and the creation of a museum of the 6th Congress of the Chinese Party (just visible in the photo with overlapping). We, of course, tried to live with our neighbors in the world: we gave them our own water, treated them with electricity, even let them "spend the night" - on our site there were 22 cabins for their workers. The neighborhood was tricky: You can't explain to all Chinese workers that you don't have to go everywhere, you don't have to shit where you sleep, you can't steal, and so on.
