And he said that all the beneficial properties in any seeds and nuts remain only in a protective shell, that is, a shell. So do not be lazy to peel the nuts just before eating, and I will tell you how easy it is to get rid of their shells.

Again, recently in my life I came across the fact that people do not know how to crack a walnut and suffer from using special devices, hammers... Some even use my furniture for these purposes, can you imagine? Someone splits from the legs of the sofa, someone puts a door in the opening.

To begin with, I will give those methods that are generally more complicated, but clearer or something. There are options for softening the shell for easier breaking with a hammer or walnut cracker.

First, keep the nuts in the oven for 15 minutes. Pull it out and let it cool slightly to a temperature acceptable for the skin, and break with a hammer. The heated and softened shell breaks quickly and easily with one light blow. But you can do it without a hammer, as mentioned when using boiling water.

You can replace the oven with water - dip the nuts in boiling water. For the same time as in the oven. Then take out, put the nuts after boiling water in a strong bag and knock on the table with the filled bag. The shell splits itself. I love this method the most.

o You can separate the halves even without heating. Much easier. An acquaintance of mine loved to open nuts with the key to the apartment. He boasted to the kids that he could open anything with his magic keys... Well, these are stories for kids, of course.

And so he had a detail on the key ring with a pointed tip, it seems, something like a bottle opener. Here he pushed this sharp end into a crack between the halves of a walnut shell from the blunt end and quietly scrolled. The shell opened just as quietly and beautifully and the halves left. And to scroll it was generally easy, without effort, you can put the nuts in the freezer for 10 minutes. Well, that's if you're at home and a freezer is available to you. The naughty carapace becomes as if crystal and easily amenable to opening. All that remains is to clean the partitions inside and eat the kernels.

That's all! And I just as easily crack a walnut without special devices, with any pointed object, be it a key, a knife or even a screwdriver at hand. And so you can - just try it!
