Not so long ago one of our regular readers sent us a message in the group. He read our articles on the use of various products for cleaning the toilet, sink and more and wrote about his recommendations to help us save money and make housework easier.

I was just about to write about how to easily and quickly clean the tub to whiteness. But I couldn't find the time. And then I thought that it was not possible to try a store-bought remedy, but to prepare the mixture at home on the advice of Ivan Stepanovich. Thank you in advance for writing to us and sending us recipes that I did not know about for sure.

For the cleaning mixture, I had to go through quite a few stores to find one of the ingredients - oxalic acid. I knew that oxalic acid is used by some in cosmetic masks, but there, apparently, a different formula. Here on the packaging it is written that in order to avoid getting burns, you must use protective gloves. Or maybe just a strong concentration.

In general, I bought a bag weighing 200 grams, but there was also a package in a kilogram, which is cheaper. But this amount is enough for me for a very long time. It so happens that now there is no need to buy separate agents for rust and lime and even for disinfection for the toilet and bathroom. We need very little acid, as I understood from practice.

Prepared a mixture of oxalic acid (2 parts) and liquid soap (1 part). I mixed it well. I washed off the water in the toilet to moisten the surface and applied the acid mixture with a hard sponge, you can use a brush and even a brush. I rubbed it over the surface and left it for 5-10 minutes (I definitely did not notice it). Then she rubbed it again and washed it off. No plaque left! No rust, no lime, no urinary stones.

Then I went to clean the bathroom and shower in the same way. I left the mixture for 5 minutes, washed it off and the whole bathtub shone like new and became snow-white. Then I cleaned the mixers with the same product and the tiles. Most importantly, don't forget it is very good to rinse the entire bath and shower with clean running water, I repeat, acid can burn.
