Ways to use garlic cloves
The easiest and most effective method is to take one clove, cut it into several pieces (to prevent germination), and place it in the soil. This procedure must be carried out every two months.
You can also use an infusion of garlic. To do this, grind about 75 g of cloves, and pour 10 liters of hot water. Cover the container and leave for 30 minutes.
This solution needs to be cooled and the diseased plant treated. The solution will also kill thrips, whiteflies, aphids and worms.
To get rid of the spider mite, I use not only the cloves, but also the green part of the plant. I put the crushed raw materials in a three liter jar. It should take up half the capacity.
I fill the contents with warm water, and insist for a day. I drain the liquid and pour in the wort again. I filter and mix both liquids, dilute with water in a 1: 1 ratio.
I water the infected plants with this liquid. Also, this infusion is suitable for processing the ground part of plants. They can be processed once or twice a week.
To prepare a remedy for midges, you need to crush in a garlic, or grate 1 head of garlic. Pour 600 ml of boiling water over the mass.
Insist the mass for 3 hours, and water one houseplant. The liquid that remains is used to treat the ground part of the plant. I prefer to bury the pulp of garlic in the soil.
In order to guarantee one hundred percent result, before the procedure, I treat the plant with a chemical preparation, for example, dichlorvos.
The treatment should be repeated after about 7-10 days. Since the garlic was poured with boiling water, there will be no unpleasant smell in the room. I also use expanded clay as a preventive measure, which I place on the soil surface.
