Soak Pepper Seeds in Aloe Juice for a record Harvest this year. And I will tell you how to do it correctly
Vegetable seeds, that is, bell peppers, are tough nuts. Demonstrates slow and low germination without pre-treatment.
But I do not perform any complex manipulations with them - because I am used to the fact that every year an ordinary houseplant helps me out. I'm talking about aloe.
The main thing is to take an aloe that is 3 years old or older - which produces the right palette of unique chemicals that are capable of:
· Soften the hard shell of pepper seeds;
· Neutralize planting material inhibitors;
· Disinfect seeds;
· Accelerate and enhance their germination;
· Strengthen the immunity of future seedlings.
And in general, aloe stimulates the vitality of plants, vegetables, eventually contributing to their more abundant and high-quality fruiting.
The plant is required to cut off a couple of lower, healthy and juicy-looking leaves, and even if it looks seem clean - it doesn't hurt to rinse them in running water, and then wipe them dry with paper with a napkin.
Then, they need to be wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated for a week. I want to emphasize that fresh aloe juice cannot be used for soaking seeds or watering plants, it not only does not give the expected effect, but can also damage them.
To grind the aloe after the specified time, you can use a blender or meat grinder. The resulting gruel should be squeezed through gauze folded in several layers.
And then, the squeezed juice is diluted with clean water in equal parts.
The further process of soaking the seeds looks like this:
I spread the pepper seeds on a cotton or linen cloth, folded in 2-3 layers;
· Cover the grains with the same piece of cloth;
I put all this packaging in a saucer or unnecessary bowl;
I heat the aloe juice to +30... 35 ° C and pour it over the seeds so that the rag with them is half immersed in it;
I put the dishes with the grains in a bag - this is necessary to create a greenhouse effect;
· I put the container in a dark and warm (about + 25 ° С) place.
Soaking pepper planting material in aloe juice takes 12-18 hours. After that, the seeds do not need to be dried or washed. You can and should immediately plant it in the ground.
Moreover, it should be the most common, simply corresponding to this culture, because all the elements necessary to start the development of seedlings are already contained in aloe.
Such a simple technique allows me to get strong, healthy seedlings every season and, as a result, to collect a rich harvest of delicious peppers!
