Welcome all visitors to our channel!

Plastic caps for soda and water bottles are now in price. The so-called second-hand can even be sold to craftsmen. Schoolchildren from our village collect bottle caps and sell them to one summer resident. Boys are so proud of their first crumbs they earn. And I found out from that summer resident why he was buying them and what he was going to make of them.

This article is from a series of useful uses of things that people usually throw away, one of many that we will write more. I assure you, we can even surprise you!

In the meantime, let me remind you of our useful and interesting publications that you might have missed in your feed:

So, now, too, I will no longer throw out plastic bottle caps. Some crafts that I deliberately did not include in this article, I will make and show photos in the summer. And now I'll tell you about simple useful uses of plastic lids. All of these utilities come in handy with a rope and a drill (preferably a hot awl) and possibly hot glue and paint of the desired color. But if you will not be confused by the color of the source material, then you can do without painting.

I'll start with applications for summer residents and villagers. The first option may not surprise you very much. This is the ennobling of fences, and sometimes even the shelter of an unsightly fence and, at the same time, its site from the prying eyes of passers-by. This is lovely! There is only one thing - how to collect so much material ...

And what about the paths and rugs made of these plastic caps? In fact, it is not necessary to fill in concrete or cover with expensive tiles. Plastic is a very durable material. I have only one question - will it be slippery to walk on these plastic paths during and after the rain? But in a greenhouse it will be very convenient to lay out such a rug. And if you lay it, then not paths, but decorate the perimeter strip of the house, it looks very neat.

And as for the paths, people have thought of ennobling unsightly country houses with mosaics of plastic covers. And yes, then, as the imagination roams, you can decorate the balconies, gates with the pattern that will please and delight the owners. And by the way, these covers can be painted, if necessary, in any other color, so that the mosaic pattern turns out the way you need it.

I gradually move into the area of the house. Have you seen such a bucket of lids? People even made a trash can.

And in a similar way, you can decorate flower pots, flower beds on the site, and even make baskets or boxes for garden utensils from plastic lids. Very comfortably!

I knew that some of the different materials make coffee tables and mosaics of lids, corks and so on.

They also come up with beautiful curtains for doors, which is not an unexpected invention. In the villages, this can often be found.

But the lamps from the lids surprised me. And the truth is, you can come up with very nice sconces, not only for the house, but also for the gazebo and porch.

Have you tried making something out of lids? Tell us what you did?
