And then from the "unnecessary" you can make useful devices in everyday life, and for a symbolic price.
How to modify a garden wheelbarrow for the transportation of heavy loads
Sometimes a trifle becomes an incentive for buying a tool or device necessary for suburban life. For example, a portal member Cosolapyj, having decided to buy a garden wheelbarrow and choosing a “helper”, I saw the inscription on the wheel of one model “Not for highway use”. T. e. - "Not for highway use."
The user liked the inscription, the price for the device is only 400 rubles, too.

Of course, the price is tempting, I thought that a car for this money would not withstand the load for a long time. But to my surprise, the car withstood the harsh operation. For a month, I transported on it a couple of dozen cubic meters of construction waste and sand, as well as 2 cubic meters of concrete. Not a hint of breakage! The quality, despite the low price, turned out to be at its best, but for my part I also modified the design, strengthening it and spending only 150 rubles on it.
So, before tuning the two-wheeled "assistant" Cosolapyj meticulously examined the disassembled wheelbarrow.
The audit showed the following:
The frame tubes at the designer's "assemble it yourself" are anodized and thin-walled.
But the welds are of normal quality. There are no uncooked or burnt places.
The wheels are made with a margin of safety.
The design of the axle for the wheels is the simplest - “tube in tube” with a gap of about 4 mm.
To strengthen the wheelbarrow Cosolapyj decided to do the so-called. attachment bar, which is placed in the front part under the trough. To do this, the user took a 2x2 cm profile pipe with a wall thickness of 2 mm and made cuts on it, bending it at the desired angle.
By changing the size of the cut, you can adjust the pipe bend angle by increasing or decreasing it.
Also, from the same pipe, blanks were cut for the support of the attachment bar.
A saw is made in the upper part of the pipe for attaching to the frame of the wheelbarrow.
The next step is cutting out of the old bicycle tube washers-spacers - 8 pieces for the bolts that attach the trough to the frame.

Rubber washers are needed to prevent corrosion of the trough where it is attached to the frame. This increases the life of the wheelbarrow.
For the manufacture of rubber washers, a punch is required - a steel tube with a diameter of about 8 mm, at which one of the ends is sharpened.
At the finish, all parts are welded to the frame.
In addition, the user reduced the backlash of the wheel axle, for which he carefully flattened it and welded it in 2 places.
The final touch is the coloring of the wheelbarrow reinforcement elements.

A two-wheel barrow is more stable, which is important when transporting large loads. The only drawback is the large loading height.
