What varieties of Cucumbers with long-term fruiting will I plant this year. And why did I choose them
I, as an avid gardener with many years of experience, grow cucumbers in my summer cottage indoors, thereby trying to increase the fruiting period.
However, not so long ago, I learned about other ways to significantly increase my cucumber yield. One of these methods is long-fruiting cucumber hybrids.
Long-fruiting cucumber varieties
Below I will tell you about the most common varieties of cucumbers that harvest until late autumn.
And also let's talk about cucumbers grown in a greenhouse:
· Variety "Anyuta F1", a variety with self-pollination. One inflorescence can contain up to 5-6 greens.
The fruits of this variety are very juicy and sweetish, with a thin skin, suitable both for fresh consumption and as preparations for the winter.
The variety "Anyuta F1" does not tolerate various diseases poorly, and this does not in any way affect the number of zelents.
The color of the cucumbers is light emerald, with a lot of tubercles.
The second, my favorite grade - Buyan F1, early maturing gherkin. The bouquet type of inflorescence sometimes contains up to 6-7 ovaries. Fruits are oblong cylindrical in shape with small tubercles, have a universal purpose.
Variety "Buyan F1" self-pollinates, that's why I grow it so often in greenhouses, resistant to attack by insects and disease, and also has an excellent taste with a content of useful vitamins.
· Virenta F1 grade I recommend, without a fraction of a doubt, growing in poorly heated greenhouses, while getting a good harvest all season, since low temperatures are not terrible for him.
The variety is so unique that it easily adapts to any growing conditions. The fruits have whitish tubercles, with a thin green skin and juicy pulp.
Another variety that I have grown on my site for the third year in a row is the variety "Zadavaka F1". The fruits of this variety form 5-6 ovaries at once, easily endures shady planting areas and bears fruit excellently on them.
This hybrid is designed in such a way that it never tastes bitter, is resistant to many diseases and has elongated cylindrical fruits with sweetish fruits.
Early variety "Lord F1" bears fruit within 1.5 months after planting the seeds. "Lord F1" is resistant to low temperatures, quite versatile and has a long fruiting period.
Cucumbers of this variety have bright taste. In this variety, I can only note one single drawback - bee pollination.
